Triangle North, formerly known as
the "Kerr-Tar Hub," is an award-winning and innovative
rural economic development initiative created through a unique
multi-county collaboration and cost-sharing arrangement to
spark economic growth and opportunity in the Kerr-Tar (pronounced
"Car-Tar) Region of north-central North Carolina, located
north of world-renowned The Research
Triangle Park.
The initiative is
owned and managed by the Kerr-Tar Regional Economic Development
Corporation, a 501(c)(3) created for this purpose.
The Research
Triangle Regional Partnership markets Triangle North.
The Kerr-Tar
Regional Council of Governments provides administrative
support.
