Triangle North is an award-winning innovative rural economic development initiative created through a unique multi-county collaboration and cost-sharing arrangement by four northern counties of the Research Triangle Region, North Carolina, to spark economic growth and opportunity.
Formerly known as the "Kerr-Tar Hub," the parks serve four of the five counties in the Kerr-Tar (pronounced "Car-Tar") planning region of north-central North Carolina, just north of the world-renowned The Research Triangle Park.
Triangle North is owned and managed by the Kerr-Tar Regional Economic Development Corp (EDC), a 501(c)(3) created for this purpose.
Board members represent the four participating county governments, Franklin, Granville, Vance and Warren.
The Research Triangle Regional Partnership markets Triangle North under contract to the EDC. The Kerr-Tar Regional Council of Governments provides administrative services.
