Interstates and Highways

Interstate 85 runs right through our region and two of our sites have direct access to this valuable north/south thoroughfare. We're also just a quick ride to I-95 (the East Coast's primary north/south corridor) and I-40, which runs east/west from Wilmington, NC all the way to southern California. US Highways 1 and 401 also provide easy access in to and out of the Triangle North Region.

Raleigh-Durham International Airport is the region's main commercial airport. Located in western Wake County (Raleigh, NC), RDU offers more than 400 daily departures to 40 US and International cities. Recent renovations including increased security lines and many new shops and restaurants have made the airport a pleasure to travel through.

For executive travel, you might consider either Triangle North Executive Airport in Franklin County, or the Henderson-Oxford Airport in Granville County.

Rail users will find that both CSX and Norfolk Southern offer service in the Triangle North Region.

Relatively speaking, Triangle North is a short drive from several major east coast deepwater ports, including the Port of Norfolk, the Port of Wilmington, the Port of Morehead City and the Port of Charleston. This proximity will not only allow you to ship and receive products to and from the rest of the world, they offer redundancy and the option to use the facility that best meets your needs.
